It depends far more on scope than on the photographer. A two-hour single-location shoot with fifteen retouched images is a different job from a full day across three sites with forty finals. Post the job with the budget you have, even as a rough range, and the applications will tell you within a day whether it is realistic.
Do I need to provide a studio?
Usually not. Most photographers in Addis shoot on location or rent studio time and pass the cost through. If a studio is needed, agree who books and pays for it before the date.
How far in advance should I book?
For a normal commercial shoot, a week is comfortable. For a wedding or a dated event, book as early as you can — the good ones in Addis are taken months ahead for the December–January season.
Can I see the photos before I pay in full?
A watermarked or low-resolution proof gallery before final payment is normal practice and a reasonable thing to ask for.
